Here is my quote;

“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
William W. Purkey

Life lived with less ridgidity is a life well lived. My darling, allow you to live for today; enjoy all that the Lord has bestowed on you. It will make paddling through the muddy waters easier and life will have less regrets and outpouring joys and triumphs.

We are continuing the same format here and that is: there are no rules to follow. Either make up your own sayings  or use a quote from a famous author that you find gives you inspiration.

Each Thursday, we will post the prompt and all you have to do is participate!

Here is my quote

Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me. Carol Burnett

My child,

your life is yours,

to live,

or waste,

how I pray,

that you will choose the former,

that you will follow,

the path less trodden,

that you will choose to stand out,

only for the good,

I pray that you will value your life,

that you will live to impact positively,

that you will be an agent of good

ALONE NO MORE

images (17)vayas.ca

Alone she walked,
alone she fought,
alone she weathered it all,
like a lone ranger she lived,
orphaned at a tender age,
she learned to fight her battles.

But life mustn’t be lived that way,
an empty heart is not great for living,
it breaks one’s will,
it quenches one’s zeal,
for then,
what would be the driving force,
when all the envisioned conquests are achieved?

The voyage called life,
can only be well lived with companions,
they may not be blood family,
but why not forge one for yourself?
it is not that easy,
but why not give it a try?

However,
the best companion on this voyage,
is Jesus Christ,
He sticks closer than a brother,
His love is binding and rejuvinating,
His word is life,
He never fails.

THE MYSTERY OF HIS SHOES

Shoes

There’s his shoes. So where is his next destination?

There’s his shoes. So what is his next conquest?

There’s his shoes. So what journey is he embarking on next?

There’s his shoes. So is he leaving us again?

Those were the questions that the people in John’s life always asked whenever this well-worn pair of shoes was sighted at the doorway.

The children were sad that he had to go for yet another long month or so without a father figure not to mention a sweet or two here and there. His wife was in the same boat, thinking of the lonely nights without her soulmate, her protector. While his mother worried about his wanderlust nature, thinking that maybe some day, the family breadwinner, her only son may not come back. His counterparts, on the other hand, were simply amazed at his love for new conquests and new journeys.

All in all, the sight of those shoes in the open tickled everyone in their own way.
