It had stood for as long as I could remember. It had once been the community ball room, hosting all the community events and so much more.
So it was a nostalgic affairs when it was discovered that the foundation was emitting raditions. These, the medical team had concluded, were responsible for the increasing cases of cancer as well as children born with deformities in the community.
It held many memories, half of the marriages had their roots on its dance floor. However, it had to go for the longer it stood, the more catastrophic to became to their livelihood.
It was sad to see the last of Funky Mukey, but for the good of all, this health disaster had to be dealt away with.
