REGARDLESS OF THE DOWNS SYNDROME

Photo prompt is provided by Yinglan

You waited for this day all your life. The nights were longer than you wanted them to be, because anxiety welled up within you. You desired to be your best. Oh, train you did, without fail. I watched you dribble, I watched you perfect your score. My heart, I may say, could have been injured because the pride in me sweeled up a little too much.

My munchikin, we are finally here. Whether you lose or win, just remember, there is no fan on this pitch bigger than mummy.

I will cheer you on to the last minute. When you feel fraustrated, look out for that bright red blouse with #10 on it. Let my smile rejuvinate you, let it help you to soldier on.

Remember, at all costs, we are the best team.
