Plowing the land, father was proud of how far he had come. It had been one battle after another with the neighbors. They had wanted, for quite a while, to take it up for recreation facilities. That was irrespective of the fact that we were the rightful owners.

It had taken lots of prayer and fasting before we saw them leave us in a mysterious manner. It was jubilation and thanksgiving in the fold.

We could now enjoy fresh fruits and vegetable unlike the rest in the community. The grand children would also learn a thing or two about gardening and its beauty.
