We have come from humble yet passionate beginnings. The road has had its ups and downs. There are times that I felt like giving up but I knew better. Now the world has embraced us and we are making a mark in places that were once unknown to us.

It has not been without the help of many people; known and unknown. Blogging courses, you have done a great work in grooming me, I am indebted to you. However, the biggest fun and helper has been God, my creator and king. He has pushed me forward and given me a sense of belonging.

We are going places and doing the unprecedented, life is with blogging has taken me places. I know that I chose the right road.

The future is bright despite all the bumps and corners. We are indeed DESTINED TO REIGN.

<a href=”https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/because-the-night/”>Because the Night</a>

I would compare myself to a child with autism because my life, more so when I am at home, is governed my a routine that I HATE to break.

Yes, I am more productive in the morning. It is at this time that I do my best to get all the housework done before I can settle down to punch the keyboard keys.

I am glad to have developed that routine, it gives life a pace to follow which brings meaning to my life.

Six of One, Half a Dozen of the Other

I am optimistic about the future

That is the best I can say. It encompasses a lot in my faith list.

“Learn to put your trust in God’s word,” he said, “He knew you before your conception. What you say in God’s hearing, persistently, He shall do for you ” Those are some of the words from our senior pastor.

I have learned to read the Bible, trust the words on those pages. My faith is stronger than it was 10 months back. I can not thank God enough for having led me to this church.

Back to the point, I believe that my books shall finally hit the stores, and the money shall flow in, my blog shall become a fully fledged website with content worth catching Google attention. On the family side, my family shall get to where the devil had curtailed us. It is indeed getting better BY THE SECOND.

I am indeed gaining ground and whatever the enemy had stolen or manipulated is getting sorted out IN JESUS’ NAME.

<a href=”https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/unexpected-guests/”>Unexpected Guests</a>

Now this prompt just got me angry. Who does that? Who comes unannounced and goes ahead to make themselves feel at home in my absence. I know that many have said how Ugandans are very hospitable. However, I am sorry, not to that degree.

Being the kind that avoids stepping on people’s toes, you may get a smile from me. But trust me, you will have booked your seat in my black list. You will never see me anywhere next to you.

I mean a lot goes on in my mind. Why are they here? What have they done in my absence? Why did they see it unnecessary to communicate? Oh, as an African, I would wonder if they have brought witchcraft in my house hence the unannounced visit. As a Christian, that would mean raising a war cry.

Honestly, if I sound hysterical, so be it, but unannounced guests in my house when I am not around, WWWWWAAAAHHHH, sends alarms in my head seeing that when we leave home our house is under lock and key.

<a href=”https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/the-wanderer/”>The Wanderer</a>

I love traveling. However, I do most of it on my laptop or in my mind. Nonetheless, I can not stop dreaming about going to Isreal, Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, and all the National Parks in my country (you are free to laugh out loud at this last one.)

I know that the last one seems insane, but the truth is that I have not been to any of them. If it was not money, then it was parental restrictions. Then as time flew by the babies came, and it was responsibility, money and all that goes with it. yeah, yeah, yeah, I NEED TO TRAVEL. I am tired of being in the same place.

<a href=”https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/climate-control/”>Climate Control</a>

Of course, the weather changes my moods in various ways; a shower after a spell of sunshine makes me jump in glee yet that won’t be the same when I need my clothes to dry so I can do my ironing.

Sunshine after a shower is like a life-giving scenario, it just calms me down in a manner that words can not justifiably explain.

However, I need to show off a particular kind of people, people with special needs. How does the change in weather affect them?

A change in weather calls for change in activities. For children with Autism or Autism related symptoms, that is a disaster. They need a routine that weather changes do not respect.

Furthermore, while people in the Tropics are better prepared for hot weather, it is not the same for countries that experience summer. The heat is intense and can do major harm to a child let alone one with special needs. It causes dehydration and sunburn.  There are times when these high temperatures come without a warming.

That means that you need to be prepared all the time and ensure that the children are always hydrated, they are out in the open when the sun is not intense or have sun protection, and make sure that the rooms are cool.

These children need your love and protection. Do whatever it is that you can to ensure that they are safe as weather changes are now more unpredictable than before.
